The problem is not that "Wizz Rss" keeps running after I follow your uninstall directions. "Wizz Rss" is no longer listed under "add-ons" on my computer; however, every time I use Firefox, a second tab comes up automatically that tells me I still need to uninstall Wiss Rss. The link for this tab is [[1]] and the web page is entitled "Wizz Rss News Reader Announcents" Please provide info on how to "kill" this erroneous alert. Thanks.

As far as I know, it's impossible for the Wizz RSS code to continue displaying the Welcome page after it has been uninstalled. Having said that, it is also true that, over the years, many people have complained about the same thing. I have absolutely no idea what causes the Welcome page to continue displaying even after Wizz RSS has been uninstalled, and I can assure you that it certainly isn't due to some-or-other nefarious "hook" that I have coded. I have also tried, unsuccessfully, on numerous occasions to replicated the problem - Thus, I am unable to provide you with info on how to kill the erroneous alert. I can only assume that the problem is being caused by some-or-other bug in Firefox, and thus suggest that you address the problem with the Firefox development team.
